| Create Text Mask in Flash |

Launch Adobe Flash Pro CS4. Open a new file by clicking File ->New. Import an image to the stage by clicking File-Import. Create new layer, and name it "mask".
Click "mask" to pick the "mask" layer, and type the text with the text tool.
Right-click "mask" layer and select mask menu.
If you wish to add animation, you can do as the following. Select the layer1, click the forty frames and hit F5 to extend the timeline.
Select the mask layer then right-click and choose insert key frame to insert the key frame on the forty frames.
Click on the frame one and drag the text to the left. Click the frame forty and drag the text to the right. On the mask layer of timeline add motion tween.
