How to Make Shiny Vector Hair in Illustrator |
|
When we start, using the "Pen Tool" and draw a curvy shape. Confirm your lines are smooth and don't have jagged points.

Go to the Menu and select "Window Brush Libraries creative Artistic Ink." choose the Tapered-Sharp brush. You'll have to adjust the weight of your line so that the hair is thin. As you can see, I have employed a weight of 0.25 pt.

Draw many more S shapes to build a huge volume of hair to add variety.

Achieve a solid mass of hair by drawing a black S shape. We'll place this shape behind the hair to fill in any white openings.

Give the shape a shadow.

Move the shape behind the hairs.
